Edge to Edge Quilting on your Embroidery Machine

Class Supplies:
- Edge to Edge Quilting on your Embroidery Machine book (required) by Amelie Scott Designs
This Includes: Download instructions for 10 quilting designs to fit Large Oval, Maxi Hoop, and Jumbo Hoop. Please download designs to a USB stick to use in your embroidery machine before class. You will need both A and B for the size and design you select. Smallest patterns measure 5.25 by 9.9 Inches Designs do vary in size. - Quilt Sandwich - Small Item to be quilted in class. See note below.
- Machine with embroidery unit
- Large Oval, Midi, Maxi, Mega Or Jumbo Hoop
- Thread for Top and Bobbin
- Machine Needles - Use Universal 14, Microtex with cotton thread; Use Embroidery Needle with Embroidery thread; UseTop Stitch Needle with Variegated thread.
- Stabilizer - Cut-Away Mesh
- Medium Point Black Marker
- Clover Double Sided 1/2 Inch Basting Tape (Other brands do not work as well)
- At least 4 large straight pins
- Straight Edge/Ruler
- Cutting Mat (small)
- Scissors /Cutting wheel?
- Fabric Marking Pen/Pencil
To Make Quilt Sandwich: For your first project, select a smaller item. Make backing and batting 7 inches larger than the quilt top. Quilt top can be pieced fabric or solid fabric. You can pin baste or thread baste the quilt sandwich. Suggested ideas: Pillow Top, Table Runner, Fabric for a bag
