T-Shirt Quilt Basics
You will need to bring:
Sewing Machine
6 T-Shirts
Fabric for Sashes (2/3 yard) and Borders (1/2 yard)
*"Stabili-TEE" 72x60 inches Or Light weight Pellon
*Thread
Cutting Mat
Rotary Cutter
Basic Sewing Tools
Nice but not required and can be purchased in store if machine is Bernina
15 inch square ruler (Opt)
Quarter Inch Foot (Not required but nice)
Walking Foot or Dual Feed Foot
*Can be purchased in Store
In class we will cut the T-shirts, discuss block size variations, stabilize the blocks and learn to add a sashing and borders. There can be variations on sashing and borders.
