Tree Lot Table Runner or Quilt

This versatile pattern turns 2.5" strips into rows of colorful and festive trees. It’s easy, forgiving, and perfect all year long!

You may make a table runner or any of the sizes of quilt.

Skill Level -- Beginner

Pattern -- Tree Lot by Cozy Quilt Design

Fabric -- as per pattern for the size of quilt or table runner you will make

Before class –

Follow the cutting instructions in the pattern for cutting the strips and background.

Cutting instructions given are for the table runner. Other sizes are in parenthesis (throw, twin, queen, king). Example: 2 (4,8,14,19)

Tip: Circle the quilt or table runner size cutting amounts to make sure you cut the correct amount.

Sort and label your pieces into smaller groups.

*Please have your fabrics cut before class!

Other Supplies:

Sewing machine and basic sewing notions, i.e., scissors, pins, machine needles, seam ripper, etc.
1/4" foot
Regular straight stitching foot

Thread to blend with your fabrics
Rotary cutter with a new blade

Fabric marking pencil and small ruler

Cutting mat, 12"x18" will work
Quilting ruler for marking & trimming, 6"x12" would be big enough

*The store has a cutting table, an iron & some rulers but you can bring your own.
