Block of the Month - It's Magic!
This years Block Of the Month quilt will feature blocks that begin as one thing and - Ta-Da! - become something else entirely with a few strategic cuts and turns.
Skill Level -- Advanced Beginner
Fabric -- three (or six) coordinating fat quarters
Other Supplies:
Sewing machine and basic sewing notions, i.e., scissors, pins, machine needles, seam ripper, etc.
1/4" foot
Regular straight stitching foot
Rotating Cutting Mat - will be VERY helpful for this year's blocks but is not necessary
Thread to blend with your fabrics
Rotary cutter with a new blade
Cutting mat
Mini iron and pressing mat
Fabric marking pen
See through quilting ruler
*The store has a cutting table, an iron & some rulers but you can bring your own.
